Why do we need an induction training- a threshold training for new incumbent judges at the entry level it-self, is a question asked so many times and there are answers to this question but those answers have not answered the question fully and finally.

May be for these reasons-

• To create a common shared view of Indian Justice delivery system
• To make the incumbent aware of his system responsibility
• To allow the incumbent to see beyond himself, his court, his case
• To acquaint the incumbent with all the team players
• To apprise the incumbent about different stake holders
• To allow the incumbent to take stock of the limits and the challenges ahead
• To inform the incumbent how the system worked so far and where the society wants to see the system
