Nothing else is an offence. Offences has been codified ,defined. If my behavior does not fall within those four walls of law, ans is not specifically declared illegal and offence, none can hinder or obstruct my right a a citizen and as a human being. I am free to regulate myself so long law of the land is not broken. If law is broken then also I must be treated as per law. If I have broken law it does not mean that state will break law. I can be regulated only under the sanction of law. I am in the society with a clear understanding that I shall be governed only through law and not anything  else. Something which does not qualify to be law cannot guide me, regulate me  and be my master.
I refuse to be governed through whims, likes or dislikes. No moral policing nor moral dictates. They cannot bind me. Make a law and get my obedience.
