Piece meal legislation without proper impact evaluation and further without a composite study of the society, its various components, social values and a vision is suicidal for any society.
A state may change shape, size ,formats but society has a continuity. Society cannot afford sharp cuts, rises, falls and curves. Politics, law and state all must serve society and must not become master.
Fragmented law or short sighted legal bodies, whimsical legislation and interested interpretation of law -all are burden on society.
Prudence must govern the legislature. Political laws may serve temporarily  the oblique intention of politics but history would refer those days with sheer contempt.
Supreme is the prudence wherever it lies. Nothing short of fairness  be tolerated.
Law alone cannot govern nor do guns rule for ever.
Peace has to be restored at any cost. Oppression or suppression either through law or through show of gun or at point of gun  takes away peace.
Still law is necessary political exercise and is bound to be dictating and it should be that way but never be regressive. High handed laws must be of temporary nature. Political class must educate the mass about utility of such high handed laws.
