This might seem spiritual or intellectual, but it aptly fits in all aspects of the life. We often pursue something or like someone, and begin expecting them also to like us in the same way. If it doesn't happen, the passion or interest reduces, and diminishes gradually. 
 If you are a writer reading this, fall in love with your writing. 
Feel that she is like your partner in crime who loves you eternally. 
 When you begin feeling it without expecting, you would write naturally, and do justice to yourself and your feelings. 
 Remember, if you are expecting a positive result or the same reciprocation, you are not doing a justice to your efforts, passion and love.
